THE “WHY” BEHIND THIS PROJECT IS SIMPLY THAT FLORIDA IS IN NEED OF ALL THE ART SPACES IT CAN GET. THE “WHY” IS TO CREATE COMMUNITY. TO NURTURE THOSE AROUND ME IN WAYS THAT I CAN.

THIS IS An accessible THIRD SPACE FOR SOUTH FLORIDIANS TO FREE THEMSELVES ARTISTICALLY.

“GODMOTHER OF OUTCASTS,

MADONNA OF THE UNLOVED.”

Amélie, d. Jean-Pierre Jeunet (2001)

A Nicaraguan-American renaissance woman rising from Hialeah, Florida. This multidisciplinary artist has over 9 years of experience with mixed media; her start up being in photography labs where she mastered developing film. Since then her artworks and interests have showcased collage work, papier-mâché work, mask making, illustration, lettering and character design, writing poetry, performing music, multiple styles of dance, artistic direction + production and more.

And what is insanitynprofanity?

This was the first artist name Tracy began releasing her art through in 2015 out of The Bahamas. Under this, Perez released art for galleries, exhibitions, many years of Art Basel and more. The downtown studio is truly just an extension of some strong roots.

And lots of years of hard, consistent work.

TRACY PÉREZ ZAMORA

“I wouldn't say I have one specific aesthetic or thing I love to photograph. Sure, you’ll always see me pull out my camera for cats, Japanese cars, people on bikes and trees… They’re for me… The one thing all my images share is: passion. I photograph all the things I love. All the things I want to remember. They look good because I felt good when I took them.”
